HIV1+2 Saliva Rapid Test

Many proteins in saliva and in blood are of the same composition. Detecting HIV antibody in saliva is well accepted. The operation steps for HIV saliva rapid test are very simple: collect saliva from the gum with a swab and test with special test strip. 20 minutes after testing the result is visible: if there is HIV antibody in saliva, there will be two purple lines for a valid test.

【Reference data】

Clinical study shows that, 349 cases of patients infected with HIV shows positive with this saliva HIV rapid test. In 513 cases of non-infected, one case shows positive. The specificity of this saliva HIV rapid test is 99.8% (512/513).
